When you delete the names, you have to remove the whole thing. I first just removed the names but left the shells there, and it caused my game to crash when it was trying to create new sims using those names It worked after I got rid of the whole thing (the part where you put the names. There are sections for Moroccan, Japanese and Chinese i believe, just delete the whole part that is about them).
