I solved this fairly agitating problem by the simple expedient of keeping my Vampire home for the required 20 days. I missed a lot of festivals but he spent his days gardening, painting and writing books so he had plenty of money. A cat for social needs and it was just a waiting game. I was very happy when he finally finished it though.
i have tried this but i watched it go from 5 to 4 just now and i never left home lol
i have also keep having items in my inv keep going MIA and had full inv go MIA 1 time
