And I will iterate on the point that we have never gotten tuning options, only near complete removal of features when people ask for nerfs.
Also I have a thread on the official bug report forums on the fire thing, it has all of 14 me toos. People literally do not care. I had one person come tell me on the thread I should prefer the way things are now, too.
I also made a bug report about the paranormal specter spoiled food gifting, since I thought it was ridiculously cheesy, but I had people tell me "It's not some contest, I want it easy!"
You and Me and 2 other people caring about having a modecum of dificulty without having to actively limit ourselves of the features that we paid money for, is not going to make a dent.
So while I'd love for the tuning options for overall gameplay dificulty, we won't get that, and as I said before, removing features is easier to mod than adding them.
It's difficult to get people to use Answer HQ.
It might please people to know though that sims receiving money from dust bunnies randomly has been reported and an EA representative has also responded that they are looking at the feedback with an apology as well.
Still, I would have preferred a little more playtesting instead and configurations that allow us to turn things off, apparently from what I have read the toggle to turn the dust off is not even working properly, sims still get inspired and the dust can return.
