I wouldn't blame you at all. I haven't gotten the pack, but the dust bunnies is the only thing making me even consider it.

I replied to the person who posted it and told them the problem with nerfing but, I don't know if they'll insist or not.

Yeah, good. It needed to be nerfed. Glad it's getting balanced too.

There is NO excuse for needing to vacuum 3 times a day and earning thousands of simoleons a night with no way to opt out of the simoleons, even if you like dust bunnies.

People need to stop comparing it to vampires. It'd be like if I bought the pack and they autonomously turned people. Every night my townies would get turned, and they would show up at my house multiple times a day and night and drop off thousands of simoleons against my will, then leave to turn more sims. What's more, I had no way to stop it besides disabling vampires all together.

This is not comparable.

When the devs nerf something, they almost completely tune it out of existence. If they nerf the dust bunnies, they'll basically cease to exist. Meaning you're literally spending $5 for vacuum cleaners.

And Spellcasters came pre-nerfed in the sense, they only practice in their own realm, unless you direct to them. I've heard stories of people saying their spellcasters chose to nearly starve to death instead of perform "Delicioso," which should be the norm, assuming they know the spell.

It is comparable to the nerfing of vampires, because just like vampires if dust bunnies get nerfed, content people paid for is getting removed without their consent. Which is not okay.

My Sims are actually still getting abducted all the time. I just had two guys get abducted two nights in a row, and one just had twin alien babies last night. But I do miss vampire break-ins.

I might get lucky and have Vlad break in ONCE in any game save and sometimes I can start a save and have no vampire break in at all.
Alien abductions are practically non existent.
So sick and tired of buying packs for features and then having said features removed or tuned so far that they may as well have been removed.
BTD needs fixing but I am expecting it to be tuned so much that it will be another waste of my money.

I have a save that’s 6 months old that I play regularly, not one vampire break in. Not, one.

I unforuntely didn't get to experience the Vampires pack before the nerf since I've only played Sims since about December 2018. But it made me really mad when I found out what happened. Not to mention the fact I always wondered about why people always mentioned vampire break ins that never seemed to happen to me.

@simm621 But no, I totally get what you mean. I haven't bought BTD, but was considering getting it for the dust bunnies. I just wasn't totally convinced yet. But if the dust bunnies get nerfed like vampires did... it's a no for me. That's literally the only interesting part of BTD to me.

I know what a nerf is, and that's exactly what I said. Nobody has still commented on a single one of my points about how this pack is literally broken. People just keep quoting and screaming "NO nerfs".

Thankfully, it's getting nerfed because of the fact it's so broken.

It's not comparable. Vampires didn't autonomously turn all of your sims into vampires and show up at your house every night with thousands of dollars.

Bust dummies are too frequent and overpowered.

You can literally have 3 dust bunnies the SECOND you load up a brand new save and earn 80k simoleons in one night against your will, even if you never interact with them.

This is ridiculous, stop defending bad game design.

I'd honestly like to know how you are getting 80K a night from 3 dust bunnies if you are not asking for them to find something. Because I probably manage to get 1000 at best from random money finds.
