Want to gift a game pack, but don't know Origin ID or email. Can't buy code in box so I can wrap?

So, is gifting impossible now if you don't know a person's Origin ID or email address? I was hoping I could still buy the game code in a box so I could wrap it and give it as a gift. You know, like tr...

i thought you meant to shred the code so they'll have to match it like puzzle and was like "wow evil" ?

but yeah i can't buy majority of packs because origin payment methods so -_- I wish they'd just sell the codes in stores at least in some way
