Wedding Stories. Ways to avoid complete disaster?

So, I have two Sims engaged. It's currently Friday morning in game and for a variety of reasons I want them to get married on Sunday. I have yet to actually try out My Wedding Stories with any dept...

I made sure all members of the wedding party were in the household so I could have direct control of them. Bride, groom, maid of honor, bridesmaid, best man, father of the bride, mother of the bride and officiant.
