Wedding Stories. Ways to avoid complete disaster?

So, I have two Sims engaged. It's currently Friday morning in game and for a variety of reasons I want them to get married on Sunday. I have yet to actually try out My Wedding Stories with any dept...

@simgirl1010 I moved Erik's bride into his parents' house for that very reason. Too bad it was already a full house, else moving her sisters, her parents and the Officiant would have been good, too.
