- One of the things I hate about Sims 4. Any NPC spoken to becomes a stalker( welcome wagon). Sometimes I have a story played out in my head and my Sim will be a anti-social like me (My husband and I have lived in this apartment 2 years, and I know absolutely none of my neighbors that includes the other 7 apartments in this building alone) and here comes the stalkers. One of my Sim's children said hello to a adult NPC and was constantly called all times of the night to go out to the bar. >.> Then another time I was doing the toddler challenge and Sim was busy tending to toddlers the stalkers walked up and rang bell. My Sim did not answer, so stalker goes and starts talking and playing with the toddler, I was like seriously?
I think that is the biggest thing about this game that turns me off, the forced over social aspect of it and the stalker like NPCs. - i usually don't like welcome wagons because i like getting my sim started on building some skills & then going to meet sims later. plus if I pay no attention to them, they dislike my sim. then I feel like I need to make it part of the storyline haha.
- I've only had the Welcome wagon once in my save. I'm currently in Generation 5 for my legacy play and so far only Generation 1 had a welcome wagon (And yes after every generation I move out of the house to another one).
I actually like it when I first got one, as I was new to the game trying to learn how socializing works in this game. But I can see why it would be a bother for some when they are very used to how this game works :D
Surprisingly my founder sim LOVED fruitcake, and so do all of his heirs so far. - I've been going through the neighbourhoods checking on what each household has in their individual inventories.
A tedious job but it has its lighter moments - I found about half a dozen Sims with fruitcake tucked away
All the failed Welcome Wagoners, I suppose. - Ignoring them isn't that big of a deal, especially when you consider on multiple occasions, the feature has malfunctioned for me and even though my Sim is interacting with them, all of a sudden, I'll get the message "I guess we're not wanted here." and they all get mad and leave anyway.

There is definitely a lot of inappropriate behavior. I have Sims calling my household members to go to a "party on the bluffs" at 2:00 a.m. I have NPC Sims who are barely acquainted with my Sims children calling to ask them out for dinner or to go to a bar, etc. - and it's 'way past their bed-time. I also have child Sims calling my adult Sims asking them to play hooky from school on the adult's day off. Gee wiz. "Jaline33;15655085" wrote:

This happens to my sims all the time. It's especially hectic with children with the social aspiration. To complete it, you're required with make friends with other kids AND adults. This was fine with one of my child Sims who had a strong relationship with her old nanny, but having random adults she met in the park call her at night is creepy.- This thread will result in like Wagon War III.
The first two had major casualties - 3 people banned - 17 jailed and 239 warned. - I tend to ignore them, but my recent welcome wagon caused some amusement - a long time sim family friend and my sim's cousin turned up, so I let them in. They ended up having a punch up in the hallway :D Had no idea they didn't get along!

Don't you love unexpected drama in the game haha!
