Well, That Gave Me A Good Chuckle!

I have been toying with installing it but quite frankly it is too badly explained and I only want like 5% of the things so I need to know EXACTLY what pieces to keep while removing the rest.

Meaningful stories and SoL mod are the only reasons why I’m able to fully enjoy this game. @beardedgeek the mod comes with several different folders called systems and they are named exactly for what they do. You are able to delete the systems you don’t want. Say for instance you don’t want the woohoo system or the phone system just delete those folders.

Yes, but there are several systems who, at least to me, I don't get exactly what they do.
To be fair, too, for me MCCC is usually enough since I never ever play more than one household by save (not even one FAMILY; if people move out, they become NPCs to me). So the rudamentary "assigning partners, filling houses" that MCCC does is enough.

Do you mean you want modify their personality via SoL mod? When you create or have a new sim you will be promoted to do it otherwise the mod will pick one based on what the sim does. If you want to change it just click on the sim, select the Slice of Life menu, control panel, personality modifier, and select what you’d like.

Thanks! For some reason the last few times I tried it there was no way to select in settings. I'll try it again, though. Probably user error!

I love the of Slice of Life mod. I like it for the appearances such as blushing or embarrassment and even the spots don't bother me much, they are a part of life after all and you can turn them off for any sims you don't want them on. I also love that it allows my sims to be able to get drunk, I can't understand why this isn't just part of the game. People often get drunk at bars in real life. They don't drink soft drinks.

Some things I've removed cause I don't want them in my game like the random hook ups, self woohoo and serious diseases that can cause infertility. Others I have removed for now because I feel they need improvement but I would like to keep them in game if they ever do become improved on such as the menstrual cycle and personalities.

I think the Slice of Life mod adds a lot to the game and I don't know if I would enjoy the game as much without it now.

@Sharonia As I have mentioned before this mod gives me the same 'missing' thing that Life's Tragedies gave me without the tragedies attached. :)

I would suggest you install the SOL mod, play it for a bit and then you'll better be able to tell what you do like versus what you don't. I removed the Autonomous Hook-up, for instance. I'm having a blast with the rest. (Although I did remove one aspect of the woohoo. I didn't much care for.)

I love slice of life. I wish I could take out certain moodlets, like two of them.

Do you know what system they're attached to? If so, you can just remove that system. At least that's my understanding.
