There are so many places, but the ones I have yearned for the most are:
1. The sea in Windenburg to be swimmable
2. The volcano in Sulani ( @crocobaura volcano worshiping would be so cool!! :bawling:  )
3. The lighthouse home (the greenhouse in magic realm was close to get this place, but I think I'd use the lighthouse home more... though the BB ocean should be swimmable then too   )
i was really upset to find out we couldnt use the lighthouse... :( i had a plan of having two sims that had a dream of living on the water get proposed to at the top overlooking to ocean and the partner would tell the other that their dreams are coming true and "off in the distance" would be their new island home
You can climb to the balcony of the lighthouse. But a lighthouse keeper career would have been nice though I am not sure what exactly they do except keep the lights on. ? - I'd have to select the storefronts in Finchwick.

I spinned the screen bit too much and got too sick to screencap all worlds for them
(hence can't also choose top 3 now) but
some that i thought of
this building in Sulani especially should be a lot.Spoilerit really irritates me when theres bad weather and sims can't use it and start running all over the beach
+ it would make awesome party spot + its just so freaking obviously in the center of village
https://i.imgur.com/fkgqTgB.png
I also would really like to be able to use these as lots in sulani village...
it just feels so abandoned with all the shells...
https://i.imgur.com/F4Q2yji.png
https://i.imgur.com/Aqh3EeA.png
for San Myshuno I would like these buildingsSpoiler
in spice district
the station whatever would make cool hangout
https://i.imgur.com/XRhGyNA.png
https://i.imgur.com/Qe4TBWm.png
and the big bricky one...
its just so in your face ''could be a lot but nope''
annoying truly
also wouldn't have minded second spot for community lot in arts neighborhood
and this maybe could have been used
https://i.imgur.com/ZLKtwe4.png
for StrangervilleSpoilermilitary base really should have been a thing
https://i.imgur.com/WSLMaue.png
and would have liked these to be actual lots cause we really lack lots in strangerville
https://i.imgur.com/FgpNjFf.png
or these?
https://i.imgur.com/IiLNxk8.png
for Henford I second the water wheel lot in village but alsoSpoiler
I would have absolutely loved living in this other one in old new henford
its just has all the right vibes for me

https://i.imgur.com/BvUA0nV.png

idk. just feel its sad leaving them empty :/
also would have been nice to actually visit the graveyard...
aaand i also managed to visit Brindleton Bay before things started spinning so for that:Spoiler
this could have been cool lot

would have also been lit to play as lighthouse watcher if we could use the house attached to it
https://i.imgur.com/KXz59o4.png
also always thought this lovely countryside part is bit of a waste when we can't use it
https://i.imgur.com/xsXgq8Q.png
aand obviously i wish we could use the watersides for some fun

these ones are 100% The sims really half a**es all of the packs and it really upsets me, they have so much more ability to do so much for the game and the packs especially for the price they charge and yet its like this is an independent game maker, packs ALWAYS come out screwed up despite how long they worked on them or are missing things and then when we bring it up we get told " oh that window that was in EVERY promotional image?? You didnt think youd be getting that WITH the pack right? no silly.. thatll come out in a few weeks with ANOTHER patch update." Like really? Arnie, twisted mexi, etc etc do SO MUCH MORE than the sims say is even possible yet.. they do it mostly for free, yes you can donate (which i do) but they allow people who cant afford to do that STILL use most packs and mods they make, especially mexi. I regret ever getting so attached to this game because it reminds me of when times were simple and my only worry was if my sims family was going to crumple... but now i feel like everytime i play the game i find more and more thats just likeWHY WHY WHY. All these ideas in this thread are so amazing yet i think we all know itll probably never happen sadly. We do have some hope with the "pack refreshes" but im still not super hopeful for anything serious. theres so much that needs to be done BEFORE we get A N Y T H I N G N E W.
This is spot on. When we first saw footage of the game before release, I never in a million years thought the sims team, the team that has been developing the sims for 15 years at that point...would ever make neighborhood props we could stand next to but do nothing with, especially buildings. This is the sims. Aren't we supposed to interact with buildings, the environment, the inside of things. I cannot tell you how much shells tick me off in open world games like GTA, but in the sims, I hit inferno levels of anger over this.
Edited to add - I wanted to share the changes I made to the neighborhood areas. In this pic, there is a swing set, the kids tent, and a fire pit with seating around it. Unpictured is a couple of chess tables on the other side of the house at the end. I have seen random sims just go and sit on these things and have conversations and once in a great while, one of them will use the objects. I was really surprised to see a townie light the fire pit, sit down, and roast some marshmallows. Anyhow...tool is easy to use (for this) and really makes those bare spaces feel more alive.
https://i.imgur.com/zRmX3ZL.png- oh and i also didn't include forgotten hollow because i forgot (punny ain't I) but also because it pretty perfect with no annoying unuseable shells... but i would have liked to use the cave to go to secret vampire cave party
and perhaps id like option to change vlads statue into statue of my own sim for fun
and I would have indeed liked if in all worlds the graves/graveyards at least had some fun messages to read for lore purposes
even better if they came with ghosties and zombies but i can see how that may be troublesome considering game is still mean and culls all the ghosties not in household - JooleeyuhSeasoned AdventurerI want to explore that ruined castle in Britechester.
- The steamboat, the streetcar, and the subway. I think I just wish for public transportation and vehicles in the game.
- Even if it wasn't a lot, if you could walk to the Henford cemetery and just plop down your gravestones, that'd be super cool.
- @KyreRoen Great thread and Question!
I like the main suggestions so far especially
1. the greenhouse in ROM
2. the lighthouse in Brindleton bay
3. Military Base in Strangerville
4. SO MUCH of Del Sol Valley - needs a complete revamp
5. the cemetary in Henford on Bagley
Some of my other favourites are:
the Pet Cemetary at Brindleton Bay - its so pretty - it needs to be a park/ museum lot ORa new type of cemetary lot so you can take your animal urns thereSpoilerhttps://i.imgur.com/QsX7u0H.png
This lot at Brindleton Bay (it calls out to be a magnificent restaurant or cafe out on the waterSpoilerhttps://i.imgur.com/BMgtJRd.png
and finally MAGNOLIA CRESCENT - like Del SOl Valley - it needs multiple lots
across the road from the 4 buildable lots are these nicely rendered buildings
https://i.imgur.com/pyIYwm6.png
an aerial shot shows it could easily be at least 7 lots
https://i.imgur.com/ZswhayZ.png
one building appears to have a bar and a cafe - all ready to go
https://i.imgur.com/poI4bO7.png
I'd love the opportunity to have these buildings as a residential/ commercial village type set upSpoilerhttps://i.imgur.com/IlMY0Wt.png
The crocodile pictures on the shop window are so interesting
https://i.imgur.com/3vsmeZt.png
Finally but not least - I wish the paddlesteamer was a lot too - it would be an amazing community lot.

You have no idea how many times my sim was visiting Magnolia Promenade and came across the little food stand and I always clicked on it hoping there was interaction on it to buy some food. ? - 1. Del Sol: the area by the sea
2. Background houses in Evergreen Harbor
