What did you do with the Landgraabs?

I can't believe this just happened! So because of the influence Aaron has had on Malcolm, he had denounced his evil ways. Which was crazy enough but now this!

Malcolm and Nancy got into a big argument because he told her he was done with her evil plans. She then accused him of being another let down just like his brother! ?

Malcolm told her he'd take that as a compliment and left the room. Nancy wasn't finished. She stormed into his room and demanded he leaver her house. All the while, Geoffrey just stood their with a stupid grin on his face.

Malcolm, now being homeless and penniless, has just moved in with Aaron! What is happening to my game???

Oh! And get this! Malcolm's aspiration has changed! He now wants to have a big happy family! This game has gotten out of control!

I haven't played them yet but they did get a fresh makeover and a renovated house. They have a new family member (a golden retriever) and Johnny Zest is apart of the family tree. I placed a Spa lot from the Gallery and renovated that too. I've named it after the Landgraabs name since it seems fitting they would own such a grand community lot across the street.

I was going to take screenshots but the EA app isn't happy I'm trying to play offline since I haven't patched in a while.?

I forgot another tip that I think is important. When I progress my game, I look at what I think the Sim would do in the situation then I spontaneously make my decision. Thinking about it for only a second though so that it's a mix of them and me in the moment.

For instance, Johnny is the disowned son of Nancy and Geoffrey. So it would make sense to me that Malcolm would have some resentment toward them for robbing him of a brother. Now, he's learning about life without luxury through his relationship with Aaron. This casts doubts about what he's always thought was important and what family means.

Aaron makes Malcolm want to be a better person so some of Malcolm's traits and aspirations had begun to shift.

For Nancy, it's Johnny (who's real name was Geoffrey Reginald Montgomery Landgraab II until he was kicked out) all over again. So when she called Malcolm that, he flew into an outrage, which Nancy couldn't bear so she kicked him out.

Now that Malcolm is learning how to live with the bare necessities, he's constantly doubting his decisions. At one point he even went back to the family mansion and contemplated begging forgiveness. But his mom's words, his dad's inaction, his brother (that he doesn't even know), and the memories he's making with Aaron, turned him around and he went back to the 'hovel' he and Aaron now share, happy and confident that it's the best place.

So just taking a moment to look at what you know (or perceive) about the Sim then adding your own "flavor" to it can make some interesting stories.

In my previous post, I talked about all of the changes that Malcolm is going through as if I were totally shocked about it all and had no idea it would happen. That's because I did have no idea even though I did it, I didn't know I was going to! So it surprised me.

Last tip for now since this post is getting long, take some ideas from our own stories and styles. I don't think any of us would mind really. For instance, maybe in your version of my story, when Malcolm was kicked out, he moved in with Johhny! That could be a very important turning point in his life.

Johnny Zest just knocked on the door out of the blue! After just suggesting a storyline where the two estranged brothers reconnect and it's happening! Again, this is none of my doing!

I don't mind long replies! Thanks for all the tips! I think this weekend I will just kind of cruise through my gameplay but next Tuesday I will probably get more into it.

The boys finally made enough, or rather Aaron finally made enough to move them to Sulani. To keep Malcolm happy, Aaron named the new house in his honor. Sheesh Anyway, so here it is as of right now:



And here are my two industrious young boys making bank... sort of...



I'm so proud of them.

Side note: Aaron is doing the §1,000,000 challenge so adding a homeless, penniless, materialistic, snobby Malcolm into the mix is definitely quite the challenge!

Nothing they are literally so wild by themselves Nancy cheats every save it was so funny i sent my sim over to her dads house which was J Huntington and found out that she had moved out of her mansion and into his house and they were together she also had like 2 extra kids still don't know where geoffry is ??

In one save, the Landgraabs is on their 7th generation and the family is basically scattered all over the worlds. I have a separate family tree I have saved to keep track of them all.

In my 2nd save, the Landgraabs had fell into financial ruin and are trailer trash. Geoffrey who was only in the marriage because of the influence and wealth attached to the name, left Nancy once it was clear that the Landgraab name meant less than dirt. The boys were little at the time. Malcolm barely remembers him, but Johnny does and holds alot of animosity against his father.
