My celebrity sim has a "stan" who comes to her house and invades her backyard and uses her pool. I used to just make him leave using the control center mod, but today I built a gate around the property and locked the front gate in hopes that will work.What do you guys do when they come to your house?

Lots of fences with locked gates. The Private Dwelling lot trait helps.

The one stan my sim had was already an acquaintance. I let her hang out and they became friends. She still comes over at the wrong times, though.

I mostly ignore mine, worst thing they do for me is play in my rubbish. But lucky for me my stan is neat so he cleans up after himself. I hate him but it could be worse.

What happened to my Sims' Stan was most unfortunate, but made for an interesting blog. He's in the process of having his own place built, complete with a better fencing. Twice, his brother-in-law shooed the Stan away, as did my Sims' sister. This just made Stan angry at Brianna, yet he stayed in their backyard. (must be homeless. :open_mouth: )Sadly, that was the only fireplace on the lot not upgraded to Firesafe. Shame.

I have strangerville installed and i just give every stan that visit my home bizarre fruit, you'll be left alone for a few more days before a new one appears but just repeat the cycle.*spoilers*(you can get plenty from the curio shop or from the revived mother plant)

What do you do when "stans" invade your home?

The only time I have had a Stan thwart the security system, is when the household unlocks the gate to allow their guests in. Thankfully, this last incident didn't cause any harm. And to the best of my knowledge nothing is 'missing'. The bride's father had dropped by to see her, which was good as my Global Superstar was off to the studios working on another album. His father stopped by, first. The Stan was persuaded to leave and after both fathers left I got both front and back doors locked, plus the outside gate. Yikes.

If you're not opposed to the use of mods, Sacrificial's Road to Fame has a curious object you could use. It's basically a hole that a fan, Stan or otherwise could 'fall' into. I've not had a need to use it to see what it really does, but I'm just sayin'.

Feed my vampires. Deprive the needs if the stan in question is being too annoying or the vampire happens to be in a bad mood.

I swore I wrote a comment; but I guess I didn't post it. I currently have a stan who would keep going to my sims apartment and it is starting to get annoying as they won't stay away for long. I guess you can try being mean to them if you don't mind getting a bad reputation or tell them to leave. These are either pre-made sims or sims I added into game, so I don't feel like I can just delete them.

Now one sim mine didn't even know just strolled into her apartment, played a video game on her computer then left. It is like they have no real boundaries; but luckily that only happened once, so it was probably a bug or something (as there was also a glitch when my sim tried to give an apartment key to a friend but somehow it ended up with a sim that my sim barely knew).

I would advise you lock your Sims' door and keep it locked for everybody but the household. The information given about Stans when your Sim acquires that Quirk, suggests they might take things that belong to your celebrity, if allowed into the house. Just sayin'.

I never knew that; but good idea.

My Sim makes friends with the Stan and then the Stan leaves to be replaced by yet another one. I kind of like the Stan idea. I rarely remove the Quirk for that reason. I'm quicker to remove the Refined Pallet and the Don't Touch quirks, because those are a pain in the hind end.

At first I owned an apartment and my stan just lurked outside the door. I moved to Strangerville and now the guy goes through my garbage. At first he just rummaged in garbage and stole food, but he always put the trash back and washed dishes. Then my OTHER family member got a Stan who wasn't so neat. Then they followed me on holiday. Since I have a Grilled Cheese Aspiration at stage 4, this may be the right time to summon the Reaper...
