I hadn’t noticed a recent thread asking this question, so I decided to go for it and spread some positivity around the forums today :blush: My favorite thing is the wide selection of hairstyles and clothing available. I feel like in TS4 you can create beautiful sims without the use of CC. I have most of the packs and love the variety of different and trendy hairstyles/clothing to choose from. For me, the appearances of my sims is most important. Being able to create (or find in the gallery, bc I’m awful at creating sims) the exact type of sim I’m envisioning is possible now and I can’t say the same for previous versions of The Sims.I also love the gallery and how quick and easy it is to download sims/lots and place them right into your game. There are so many beautiful sims being uploaded there! My library is full of them.Last but not least, the gorgeous scenery and how each world/town is different and has its own personality.

It took me a while to warm up to Sims 4, but right off the beginning, I loved how they added ... I forget what it is called, but where you can have a sim do several things at the same time. They can be on the treadmill, either watching the TV or listening to the stereo and chatting with another sim at the same time. In the beginning, Sims 4 was missing several key things such as swimming pools, and the toddler life stages and those were on the top of my list of things I really wanted. When it comes to the gallery I agree it is extremely easy with the search engine they have set up. I know people will complain about how they will see sims from one town walking around in another town, but I don't mind this. Sims 4 is the very first time EA made the towns connected, meaning you can easily move or visit another town without the use of mods. This has been something I have wanted since Sims 2.I could go on with even more, but the above is my most favorite involving Sims 4.

The calendar - well mostly being able to create your own holidays.

The sims themselves. What they lack in personality they really make up for with facial expressions. I love just watching them in my game. Multitasking sims are also a huge improvement on the sims from previous iterations. I honestly don't think I could go back to playing an older version of the Sims after experiencing multitasking in the Sims 4. I'm also completely in love with the graphics in sims 4.

The camera, the gender flexibility (I love playing with that), and...ooh, I'm going to say it....the simplicity. The roofs, CAS, playing -- it's all more intuitive now, with the exception of the phone and the wall tools. I still find myself clicking the Sim for their phone, or looking for the walls in that left bottom corner.

@LaBlue0314 I think the word you’re trying to come up with is multitasking? I agree, I love it when a sim family sits down to a meal and they talk to each other as they eat. That’s probably my favorite thing to see when it comes to multitasking.I also agree about the connected towns. My sims always get invited over the phone to different places. I accept the invites and all of a sudden they’re in a completely different town, with different weather, and I love it. I realize how boring it would be if each sim was limited only to the town that they live in.

I just love the concept of games like this. There are many similar in theme, but The Sims just does it best really, even though it could certainly improve in areas too. It's the King of the Hill of this style of games.

Wow I really like a lot at this point and can’t just pick one overall but my favorites are:
-CAS-best we’ve ever had for making sims and the clothes and hairs are actually fashionable.
-BB: I can build with this and my builds don’t look awful so points for the ease of build mode lol. Plus the search feature is something that is very useful.
-Multitasking: it can be a bit odd sometimes in what you can and can’t multitask with but I love this feature. Eating while drinking coffee and talking to your family is such a nice touch of realism.

Honestly I wasn’t a big fan at first but sims 4 has vastly improved since it’s launch. Once I got back into it in 2017 with toddlers now added and got parenthood it was over and I was hooked. I ended up buying a new computer when seasons came out because I couldn’t miss out on it. And I’ve liked packs in this series I haven’t been a fan of in the past biggest example is get Famous. Hated fame in 3 but I love love it in 4. I have one save fully dedicated to it right now and it’s one of my favorite families. Keep going sims 4!! You’ve been doing great lately (even if IL is slightly disappointing).

It's a close toss up between the beautiful graphics, and the chance to be fully creative with it. I like that the way the Sims personalities work, you can have any Sim marry any other SIM because there's no turn off some stuff that interfere with your creativity. I usually use the Sims to play out storylines from novels I want to write and stuff like that and I really like how much you can just full-on imagine whatever you want

So many things! The ability to travel between neighbourhoods (being stuck in one town was frustrating for me in ts3), easier build mode, the seasons holiday calendar, the gorgeous graphics and beautiful worlds... I could go on. But mostly it’s actually being able to play a game that functions for more than a few minutes without crashing/freezing/glitching/etc. that wins me over.
