As the title says...When I game, I always use a pair of headphones.I currently own 2 pairs that I switch off from time to time... just cheapest bluetooth headphones with over ear fit i could find I think they're maxellI've had my share of expensive and mid range headphones that really just sound about same as the cheapies and are much less durable due to some stupid design thing so I just use cheapies these daysits kinda hard to find over ear headphones that don't cost fortune too so i was just pleasantly surprised those exist stillive no idea why anyone would ever want on ear headphones those are like torture deviceand as for why bluetooth i am very much wire killer i will appreciate anything with less wires cause i know thats the part i break first with my wire killing handsthat or the headbands in some of the more design padding heavy headphones always just snap in half out of nowhereas silly as it is that has made cheapies feel like very much more durable option since they literally can't afford to put anything unneeded on the headphones that could lead to their premature destruction

I use headset playing on Xbox. It really help to immerse into the game. All audio in the gameplay is very detailed and well tailored ?

When I got my very first gaming rig so many years ago now, my hubby included a really nice set of external speakers. I believe they too have a woofer. I do know I can control things from a box and the main speaker can also control the decibels. I had to play my game with simple headphones years ago after some tricksy field mice invaded our house and ate through the wires on my external speakers. Drat their fannies. Finally rid of them, my hubby repaired the wires.What I discovered is I need to hear the ambience around me. I couldn't hear what was going on around me with the headphones on.

I use external speakers and a subwoofer to play. I use earbuds when I'm recording any videos and headphones when I'm editing them, if anyone is in the room with me. If not, I'll edit using the speakers too.

I use my Sony Surround system with a subwoofer, two mids and two high and some sort of sound bar thingy. I think its Sony Surround 7.0 but not positive. That may be the hubby's. Could be the Sony Surround 5.0 instead. Also, sound card is just a standard on-board on my Asus board. Not that any of that matters, as I usually play the game muted with music or video in the background. Whiney sim noises drive me nuts so I mute them. :P I know that's probably terrible, but crying and whining sims...even laughing sims, makes me a little nuts.

I use headphones sometimes also have a bar with speakers, just excellent sound. Use it with my Alien and laptop, great for movies too. Got it on Amazon.

At the moment, some JLab Go Air wireless earbuds. The sound quality is a little ‘tinny’ but not horrible. Still, I want to find some wireless earbuds that sound as good as my wired SkullCandy ones.

Aiwa speakers & sub-woofer that I've had for about 15 years or so that still do the job very well.

I like to hear the game, but I also like having ambient music in the background. So I either just use the laptop speakers with my stereo playing, or headphones with a Spotify list playing.

I use Sony headphones (over-the-ear type, they are with wire), they are great, the sound is awesome and they are comfortable to use :blush:

Usually just some cheapish Insignia speakers and subwoofer, but when I need to keep quiet, I use the earbuds that came with my Samsung phone.
