I guess many of you know that making a mixology drink "snagglefluster" helps with getting skills quicker. But what about times when our Sims gets the other "dazed" moodlet? My sim had an itch so I gave her medication and got the "over medicated" moodlet. I had to laugh, it said my "sim" was over medicated on prescription drugs, any questions?" Ha Ha! I don't know if the "dazed" moodlet is helping as I am not on a learning curve that is not on 10 skill at the moment. Is "dazed" a good thing in your Sim's experience?

No I don't see it is as a good thing. Can they not die if they try fixing things whilst dazed?

If a dazed sim tries to fix an electronic item they’ll die of electrocution. Dazed sims can also forget what they’re doing, dropping stuff from their que.

I think in gameplay terms, the dazed moodlet causes your sim to function a few skill points less in every skill. So a dazed level 10 guitarist would play with a 7 skill level or so.In terms of simulation, it could refer to a variety of things. Sometimes they simply can't focus because their brain is mush, but sometimes I feel like it's an effect of consuming certain substances that could impair their judgment.

Dazed is useful in advancing romantic encounters fasters .. they are more susceptible. Also if you get your sim dazed they can be killed off easier by electrocution. It's a good emotion for deviant simmers.. not that I would know about that >:) . The muckleberry plant will caused a dazed moodlet by having a sim eat it.

Ew, yeah, that is creepy and realistic, all right.

I think the Bubbleblower certain flavors induce the Dazed Moodlet, as well as losing a fight. Former, rather pleasant dazed-ness would seem, latter not so much. I think it would be cool if the Bubbleblower Dazed-ness made writing poetry or painting easier, but I've never tried it. Perhaps combining it with Inspired would do the trick.

Someone dazed is considered stunned or incoherent or confused- it is usually brief and temporary unless there is a medical cause of it. I know I sometimes feel a bit dazed when I have woken up after only a hour or two of sleep. Lol.

The only good thing is see are some free satification points just by having my sim take a nap (this is the only emotional whim they'll have). Makes it easier to get the moodlet solver from the reward store in case if their needs are in the most disasterous state.

Moodlet solver is a potion that both removes negative moodlets and fills up the needs to the max for children, teens, young adults, adults and elders. It costs 500 satification points in the reward store, but by putting it in a room and saving the room to My Library, you'll have infinite supply of them for every sim.

Seems strange they gave the "dazed" moodlet to the snaggle fluster. It does make one think that learning skills would be quicker with those "other" dazed" moodlets but it is not so with most other "dazed" moodlets to my knowledge.

And while I am talking about the snaggle fluster moodlet, I don't know why my Sim has suddenly got the bad moodlet from a disappointing drink when making it, never used to.........unless that is because she is no longer in the Mixology career? I have not noticed this before though. Seems strange that Sims can make meals from master chef that no longer spoil when getting that aspiration, but making snaggle fluster drink gets a bad moodlet for me now. Not that it causes any problems in my game, my Sim usually has lots of good moodlets to counteract it.

Wondering if it is a glitch, just like it was when my other Sims who were excellent at making food, took orange juice or another quick meal from the fridge; it was normal food and they got the bad moodlet (food was not up to standard). I notice that has been sorted lately and I no longer have that problem.

It does sound like a bug or glitch - but I have not had a Sim in Sims 4 ever have the Mixology or a Chef's career so I'm not sure what oddities can happen when they change those careers. Logically it sounds bugged to me - but then it is the Sims - which often does not follow logic. LOL. Hopefully someone else knows who has played those careers.

You can get dazed by a certain effect at the DJ booth if the DJ has high enough skill, and sometimes get a Dazed moodlet from watching the petals twirl on that Flower Power outdoor lawn light from Backyard stuff too, sometimes a Playful moodlet as well.
