- SimburianNew TravelerI like to create a family usually with grandparents, married children and their children, which gives me a lot of options. It's such a change from the previous iterations where it was more difficult to control a large family. Sometimes parents and 6 adult children who I can move out separately to various lots, saving me a lot of time in CAS.
So, I suppose the answer is both or all genders! "Onverser;c-17536534" wrote:
Female. I like fashion and there's more options for female sims, dressing male sims is just boring. Currently I'm playing with just one female sim but honestly it varies, sometimes I play with a male sim and a female sim
Welp. Since I first commented on this thread last year I've played exclusively with male sims- Probably because I grew up with two brothers and no sisters. And then I had two boys and no girls. I just love selecting clothing and hairstyles for my girls.
- NateWhiplashSeasoned HotshotI have both in my game, but I lean towards females. CAS is my favorite part of the game, and it's fun to see what kinds of hotties I can create lol
- Either to be honest.
- nikkiheathcote95New SpectatorI think because I'm female that I seem to make female sims more however, when my sims have children I try to get males in the family when my sims are constantly having girl children
- Must admit that I generally create female sims just because there are so many options in CAS. Do use cc as well, so it's even more tempting.
Then a townie male surprises me with his potential and after a serious makeover I get attached and let them shine as much as my created females.
Do have a soft spot for male vampires - Depends where the story takes me. Sometimes it's men, sometimes it's women, sometimes it's "whichever gender offspring two sims from a previous chapter of my ongoing tale had" without conscious choosing a man or a woman.
I do, however, find that it's easier to find a good partner for my male sims than my female sims—for some reason, the male townies are unworthy of my chosen women, but the female townies are met with a reaction of "Eh, she'll do."
Even in the Sims, men have lower standards! - permanentrose537Seasoned AdventurerMy favorite sims to actively play are almost always female, and usually lesbian, so even romantic interests tend to be girls. My main family is a lesbian couple and they have two daughters. Even their pets are both female by coincidence. So often there’s not a male in sight when I play my favorite family :D
- While I do play with both male and female sims, I tend to gravitate toward my male sims the most. Some of my favorite sims I've ever had have been males.
Sure, female sims are more fun to dress up but they don't inspire me storywise nearly as much. I think because I'm a woman, that I (unintentionally) put myself into my female sims and I never do anything exciting with them, but I have so much freedom with male sims. I really push myself creatively with my male sims, and I find them so fun to play.
