Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today.
I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here.
So what's happened in your game today?
Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!).
I also made this new Sim :) hope the pic works!

Aaron cannot believe this is his final day as a teen. It feels a little bittersweet to him. Although he knows he’ll still see his family, it won’t be the same because he realizes that he’ll be moving out soon. Aaron decides to put such thoughts out of his mind and enjoy the morning with his family.
Later that evening, Aaron went to a bonfire with Bella and all of their friends. Although everyone was excited to be graduating, they were all a little nervous about what the future had in store for them. One thing Aaron knew for sure, as he lovingly watched Bella, he would be prosing to her during their trip together. Bella has no idea that Aaron is planning on popping the big question.
Now that Aaron is a young man, he’s ready to take on the responsibility of marriage. And, of course he wants to have children in the future. Afterall, his parents and grandparents were the best role models he could have had.
Aaron knew Bella was the one when he first laid eyes on her. The big moment has arrived. Brunch on the beach, a stroll hand in hand admiring the beautiful water, then down on one knee.
Aaron and Bella’s friends hosted an engagement party for the newly engaged couple. All the guys laughed because they couldn’t believe that all the ballroom dancing lessons the ladies dragged them to would be of any use. Yet, here they all are gracefully dancing, flowing effortlessly, and have a great time.

Aaron and Bella’s parents threw them a surprise engagement party a couple of days later for family and close friends of the family. The happy couple will be pleasantly surprised when their parents give them their wedding gift—a brand new home in Oasis Springs.

Elliot Goth and Luke Remy, Bella Purdy's nephew, were already best friends since they are in the Scouts together and attend the same private school.
Bella Purdy's parents to the right of Aaron. Her sister's family is next and her brother-in-law's (August's) parents are on the end.
Last but not least is Aaron's side of the family. Aaron's little sister Lexie decided she wanted a different hairstyle. Everyone complimented her on the new look which made her smile from ear to ear.
This was Lexie's hairstyle before the wedding. Emma Messier (the little girl in the engagement party photo in the white and red dress) had the same hairstyle as Lexie. Secretly, Lexie didn't like being called Emma's twin. So, she asked her mom to change her hairstyle for the engagement party. Lexie's best friends are—Angel with the orange ribbons, Noel with the blue sweater and Tiana with the blonde pony tail.
What a lovely story. I enjoyed the pictures. I wish the young couple a wonderful life together and that their wedding comes off as lovely as the engagement photos!
Congratulations to them on their engagement ❤️The party photos are lovely. It is very nice that everyone enjoyed dancing at both of the parties. Their outfits are very nice. Their wedding gift from their parents is very special.
Good afternoon, All. I would like to invite each of you who are following my story to head on over to Creative Corner, Cantrell: The Early Years, Part Three and find the next update, Graduation. Just to be clear, this is NOT the previously teased follow-up. It occurred to me I would be jumping over the actual end of the term if I didn't show the grad pictures, etc.
I'm playing a family from 2 yrs ago that lives on this property in Henford. The family has 3 tweens and another on the way...maybe. This family is a long slow play. I would like the family to experience the new Life and Death EP when I decided to buy it. There is no occult life in this family...yet. They have friends in the witch and vampire realms...They come from old money and have supported the occult lifestyles through the years with annual donations. This is the Manor that has been in the family for 250 years!👀
They produce their own meat with cows and chickens and have a profitable green house and garden area. The wife is a socialite/stay at home mom/lifestyle influencer... and the husband is lawyer.🙄
The family owns a small row of shops in the town center: Antique shop, Small grocery(food and tools) with apartments above.
When she is not throwing parties on their beautiful estate you will find one of the owners...the wife keeping up on the retail in the antique shop and market. She is selling out on her custards and jams in the tiny food and tool market!
Their country manor is lovely! 🙂Very nice greenhouse and great animal shed and chicken coop area. It is great that the family own shops in the town. The sims must enjoy her custards and jams that she makes because they have sold out!

Good Day Simmers! My sims have been terrified since moving into the Old Ravenwood Estate from the Life and Death expansion pack. I don't know which items strike fear into their hearts yet. Perhaps they will die of fright!! 😮
"I'm afraid it's time to take you back home" Vanessa said with a heavy heart. "Home with mommy?" Catalina asked excitedly "No... home with Ms. Masami"
Catalina became confused. "But why?" She was ready to go with her mother. "Right now honey, I can't - I don't have anything to give you. Food, clothing, a home. I need help before I can help you" "I can help" she quickly responded. Her offer made Vanessa smile
"You're so sweet, but it's alot more than you understand" In the back of her mind she still worried about being chased by those goons, since leaving them behind in Glimmerbrook she hasn't felt entirely safe. "Ms. Masami is looking for you, I want to take you back with her. She's done so well in taking care of you these years, I'm sure she'll continue while I'm away" Catalina took a minute to understand her mother was leaving again. It made her frown. "If you go away, come back again?"
Vanessa wasn't sure how to answer, but she didn't want to disappoint her either. She wasn't sure how long it would take to get back on her feet or feel safe again. She lifted her up and brought her in for a hug. As much as she wanted to tell her she wasn't sure, she couldn't do it. "Yes, I'll come back" A false promise slipped
Carrying her, all three walked towards Starlight Boulevard through the alley. A teenager walked by and Vanessa remembered of one final thing she wanted to do. She pulled out a disposable camera that she found in the cabin of Granite Falls, from her pocket and asked the teen to take pictures. She couldn't leave without having a photo of them together.
While they made their way back, Masami had a visitor. She was worried that something could've happened to Catalina, and with no one calling with any tips it was making her feel worse. "Calm down Masami. She'll be found safe and sound. Why don't you go inside and get some rest? There's already search groups looking for her, I'll stay here and keep an eye out" The retired firefighter told her. "Thanks Cristobal, but I'll stay out here with you. I'll rest once I know she's safe."
Arriving a block away it was time to say good bye again. Giving her a final hug she stood up and smiled as she watched Fish say good bye as well. "Mommy loves you honey" "Me too" Cat responded. "Go on from here, I'll watch you" "Come back, ok?" Cat made a final request. Her mother nodded her head after a brief moment.
"Bye bye" Cat waved to them "Bye" Vanessa watched as she walked towards the house, with her arms extended to maintain her balance. Before making the turn she looked on last time and waved to her mother and Fish. Fish was saddened that they were leaving her again.
"She made it" Vanessa turned away heartbroken, with tears running down her cheek. She was unsure of what to do, or where to go from there. As she walked towards the house, Catalina rushed to the open arms of a very familiar and loving person. "Hey! Look whose here, it's my little Angel!" Cristobal shouted. "Grandpa Cris!" Cat was happy to see him. Masami looked over upon hearing their shouts
Oh, wow, now that's a tear-jerker. I do hope Vanessa makes every effort to solve her problem so that she can go back and see about regaining custody of her child. Is Masumi a foster parent? This is a hard road. I do hope things get better for them.
That was such a tearjerker.😢 As hard as it is it's definitely the best for Cat at the moment. I know Vanessa will do everything she can to keep her promise.🙂
Charlotte wants to pass along her knitting skill to Gabriella before the baby comes. Moms are the best teachers.
And just in time. River Meade, a boy, was born in the early hours of the morning of New Year’s Eve.
And River is Charlotte and Elliot’s first grandchild. I think he will get spoiled.
River became an infant on New Year’s Day.
Meanwhile, Graham finished up his first semester of college – he got all A’s. He invited Katelyn to move in and she did and on New Year’s Day, they bought a house near the coast in Brindleton Bay. They did some exploring and climbed to the top of the lighthouse – I think they will like it there.
Graham finished his second semester with straight A+’s while living in the new house with Katelyn. And to celebrate, they took a picnic blanket down to the beach.
And he surprised her with a proposal.
Now they have to decide if the wedding will be before he starts his last term or after he finishes. They know the pressure to have a beautiful wedding because it is the first coming together of the Meades and Scotts. They should probably hire a better wedding planner.🤭😉
Congratulations to them on the birth of River 🙂 Also it is lovely that Graham and Katelyn are now engaged. I hope that their wedding preparations go well.
I wanted to do a costume party with my sims for Halloween yesterday, but instead I visited an old friend in Kentucky 🙂 There was a Horse Park nearby so we went to see if we could ride a horse but were too late for that 🥲 It was ok though, we went to the gift shop of the park and found some cute horse figures inside...couldn't resist😅😁
This was the closest I could find of Tornado and Storm, couldn't find one that resembled Tal
Will probably have an update tomorrow with Vanessa and young Cat 🙂
It was great that you and your friend enjoyed visiting the horse park. The horses figurine that you bought is very cute! 🙂It is a lovely reflection of your sims horses. It is sweet on your keyboard.
Edit to say that I have been trying to share some pictures in this thread for the last 2 days but somehow I keep getting the spam blocker even though I hadn't even posted anything before attempting to create my post. I had even attempted to add the pictures to this comment afterwards only for them to not show up. But I was able to share a picture over in the "The Last Screenshot You Took in the Sims 4 (2.0) without any issues. Heck, I don't even post that much on this site as I mostly just lurk and hand out Likes to everyone...😊
