What happened to setting the time for an event?

You need to have Seasons and use the calendar to create the event in order to be able to set the time.

If you want to schedule (set date and time) a social event (birthday party in this case), it must be done through a calendar (requires Seasons expansion pack). Phone is used to throw a party now.
I don't know why, but the home doesn't seem to be the default location anymore. First places you see are lounges, nightclubs, and bars. Scroll down and eventually you're going to find the homes of the hosts and guests.

The event planner's third stage is choosing a location and has always been so (in case players want to throw party somewhere else like at a restaurant). However, like said, the home used to be the default location before Get Famous expansion pack was released.

Okay so I have Season, but I thought before GF you could use the phone as well for preset events. As for the location the home location was chosen.
