What is your favorite occult?

I didn't vote because I haven't played mermaids, but of the other three, definitely vampires! Ghosts aren't very fleshed out (ha ha), and I'm not really interested in aliens. Vampire is enough of a state to be its own challenge, and there's a lot of variety in what you can do with it, so I for me, it's vampires all the way.

None until we get werewolves. I like vampires but I can't play them for long without getting annoyed by the fact that they don't age.

Really? My vampires are having kids that look like them just fine. I'm not sure about aliens though because I don't play with them as often

Mermaids are too wonky. I never even see my aliens. And I don't think ghosts ever even counted to me.

I picked vampires, just cause there's kind of more to do with them in the game. Like, it would be aliens, but there aren't any alien based aspirations, or pre-made aliens set up in game, just randomly generated ones. The scientist career is kind of connected to aliens, and I do enjoy playing it, but with the vampire point system and ranks, there's just more that's playable with them. Ghosts are similarly kind of one note. And I haven't played mermaids yet, so I can't say either way.

I didn’t; I just thought they weren’t an official occult since they’re only temporary and part of a challenge that already passed. I’ve never even played one, although one time, my (now ex) boyfriend was playing around with cheats and accidentally turned his simself into one. He freaked out and I was hysterical.
