Only because I keep forgetting about the hospital feature. I stopped using it shortly after Get to Work came out. It used to be pretty buggy and time consuming to maybe work half of the time. I'm sure it works like it's supposed to now. I'll have to try again at some point.

If I send my sims to the hospital to have babies, I send them alone. I don't like the surgery table as a delivery option. A lot of the time, I have my Sims stay home and get as much done to fix their needs as possible during labor. Since it doesn't give you an exact-minute countdown, that means sometimes the baby is spontaneously delivered at home. Whether I decide to test my luck or send my sim out depends on what's happening in my game.

I like having them at home, but I like getting the birth certificate more. It's just a really neat thing.

Depends on the mood, however, I love the birth certificate.

If you don't have one and you have the baby at home, it'll still give you one. Which is really handy if your Sims are poor...

My sims always go to the hospital.

I always forget to buy the baby bed thing so I just send my sims to hospital alone and have them come back with baby
(why can't we have those birbs bringing babies like in some older sims game tho that was more fun)

Whatever I feel like doing sometimes I have them at the hospital or at home
