I love Newegg. I ended up getting my Switch bundle from them. Mine falls right in between that. HP Pavilion Gaming 15, Intel i7-8750 @ 2.2 GHz, 16GB RAM, GeForce GTX 1060... I think 6GB? (I do a lot of Photoshop as well as gaming.)
Handles well. Some lag in loading times, but that's probably more due to the 24GB of CC and mods... - Price was around $1500 but that was three years ago now. I7, 1060, ssd, etc
- I should have voted mid range but it's too late to change it. I have a gaming laptop that cost just under 700. i5-8250U, MX150, 8GB RAM. I love everything about it except the battery life.
- My desktop was worth nearly 2k USD when I put it together but it's been over a year now.
edit: Built with other games in mind so it's a bit overkill for sims. - I play on a MSi Ge72 Apache, so I'd say around $1,000 or $2,000 went into it.

- Mine was actually over $1000 but it was on sale when I bought it and it’s not even close to $2000. It plays on ultra very nicely with all packs installed so it’s a decent desktop. Ryzen 2700x, nvidia 1060, 8GB Ram.
Edit: I do feel like this is slightly above mid range though but it wasn’t expensive. It’s a gaming desktop just not a beast of one. - I'm purely guessing here. Mine was just over $2,000 AUD and it can get tricky to translate to USD.
