Plum, I should really have known better! I saw that there was an update coming the other day, but it didn't happen automatically because I was in a game session. Then I looked at the patch notes and thought: "Oh, just a few little things, what can go wrong?" And so I restarted Origin... I had the chance to avoid this update of doom, but I didn't. Yea homework is broken for kids/teens. The progress bar fills up but they never stop. It’s the same exact bug for chess and movies. There are probably a few more where the progress bar fills up but the action is never completed that we just haven’t realized yet. I wonder what they changed to make this happen. And I also wonder what did they change that affected freelance career goals not actually completing. Strange
I have been wondering what was changed, too, that was not mentioned in the patch notes. What was changed that would affect a CAS option for pets? What was changed that would stop progress bars from progressing to completion? What was changed that stops gigs from being completed? There doesn't seem to be much new gameplay in JtB so what exactly was the point of this patch? There weren't that many bug fixes, the only update to the base game appears to be the ability to stack windows. Which has affected many CC windows and doors, by the way. So what are the teams working on that would have an impact on those, and why was that in this patch if it isn't needed to play JtB? Were those changes meant for a future patch and included by mistake in the September 3rd one? Were changes made to lay the groundwork for a future pack? Frankly, none of these new bugs appear to be related to JtB at all, which is odd since the patch was supposed to update the game for JtB.
