I usually bring my sims' fridges with them (and their stove unless it's the ones from Dream Home Decorator). In real life, you usually bring your appliances, at least that's been my experience. It may be different in other places and when moving apartments. Basically, I bring anything with my sims that wouldn't be built-in, mounted on the wall (thermostat, smoke alarm, etc.), mounted on the ceiling, or planted/"cemented" into the ground.
