What's your routine when a household is moving?

I usually take personal items, beds, sofas, tables, electronics and collectibles. They also take higher end appliances, sinks, tubs/showers and toilets. My sims usually fully upgrade those things over time and I don’t have the patience to upgrade everything again. If I move another sim into the house, I just pretend they remodeled or I replace the items before I move another family in. My sims rarely move though.
