When do roommates pay?
I know there are several roommate threads, but I didn't find this specific question debated.
I have a couple residential off-campus lots where the owner let a room or two for the extra income. But I play on rotation, and I need to know how the game actually calculate the timing for the roommate/lodger paying.
My understanding is that they pay weekly, but does it mean they pay more or less at the same time every week, regardless of how many hours I played on that lot? I think mine have paid on Sundays and Mondays so far, but I don't see any obvious pattern. Or do they pay after I have played the lot for 7 active days (= 7 x 24 hrs active gaming). I'd like to know because it would be a bummer not being on the lot at the needed hour, in case there is any such hour.
For farmers I try to be on a farming lot at 5 AM because otherwise they will have nothing to harvest. Hopefully the roommates are not set at 5 AM, too...
Also, the pay seems to vary a bit. Assuming the game technically base it on the lot worth and number of sims/housemates.
