When you leave your sims alone for too long..

So I leave these little buggers to their own desires while I ran to the store...come back and see this:

Her and J III got little busy haha...I would be okay if they did not already have a child AND lived in the Crick Cabana house. I cannot fit 2 adults, a child, and now a newborn in that little home :#

So their little stunt got them moved into a mansion (they had over 200,000 in savings) in Oasis Springs...I think it is called Yuma Heights. Yes I had autonomous try for a baby and woohoo on BUT I have had over 10+ families and nevvvvverrrrr had a family get pregnant on their own lol.

Oh and she had the little Leigh in their bathroom in the new home :D

TL;DR
NEVER leave your sims alone lol
  • I learned my lesson way back in Sims2, to never, EVER, leave my Sims to their own devices. So many reported they were doing this that I gave it a try once. It was the week before Superbowl Sunday. The urge to play my game almost superseded my need to clean my house so that it would be ready for our many guests at our annual Superbowl party. Then I recalled how some let their game run. I decided to play the kids (two separate households full) of university kids from my neighborhood. I let the guys go first. Every now and again I would run into my office to check on their progress, and since I needed one of them to get very high marks, I saved where they were and then queued up what I needed him to do. Checking back in with them, all was well, so I saved again. However, when I changed households to the girls, it proved disastrous. I was in the hallway just outside of my home office when I heard the ominous sound. Running into the room, I discovered the girls had managed to set their kitchen on fire. I was too late to save one of the twins. Needless to say, I did NOT save their progress! After that, I don't trust them.

So glad your little addition prompted the parents to move into a much nicer place, though. I'm guessing you play with the MCCC mod?
  • hahaha - I have never left any of my Sims 4 sim alone, but I used to leave Sims 1 running all the time, it was rather funny to see what happened. Sometimes I would have a sim or 2 died, usually by fire. I am sure I did leave Sims 2 running as well, but with Sims 3 and sims outside of played lot started to do things like have families and other things I stopped. Using MCCC does give the same effect with the unplayed families.
  • @hunniboo1 at least she didn't have more than one baby. :D :D I remember your forums about that family who had 6 and counting
  • Parenthood introduced lots of popups that would pause my game if leaving alone. Or, might still work with a house with no teenagers.

I just released a new mini video series called "Free Will Show", where sims roam on their own. The first edition is dedicated hugging, but there will be more editions coming this Fall. Love watching how they do without my directions :)
  • @verlainem: Uh uh see I knew better than leave the sims alone in TS2 LOL. You would always come back to a disaster.

@GalacticGal: I guess I would rather come back to a pregnancy than a death haha. Yes I have the MCCC mod. It caught me off guard because I just never had a couple actually try for a bubba until now. I have had that setting on for over a month now. They waited until they lived into a tiny house with no room in order to finally use it LOL.

@xxnearlyperfectx: I am SO glad I fixed that issue. It was a broken pregnancy mod lol. NEVER AGAIN haha.

@Simmerville: I'll have to watch that show but trust me I will never be leaving these brats alone again lol :)
  • I learned a while ago not to leave my sims alone because someone always starts a fire and once i came in and they caused two fires and someone died I was like never again. Ya'll can be trusted XD
  • I do leave the game running sometimes, especially if there are children in the household because I know sooner or later one of those advice cards will pop up and pause the game :D
  • I love this, I appreciate any kind of story progression like that in my game that I did not force upon my Sims. Make it more random and exciting! :)
