Where do you get laundry additive?

Where do you get laundry additive/How do you find it?

Food gives a bad smelt while flowers gives a good although the definition of flower is a pretty loose one. My sim got back from Granite Falls with some fireleaf in her inventory and she had the option to add THAT as a flower additive.

It should’ve made them itch like crazy. I wish they would’ve put more detail into this feature.

I was able to add a plasma fruit and it didn't seem to result in a bad smell like a food would. I wonder if it attracts vampires...

No idea. That would be interesting. I added roses hoping for a romantic moodlet but didn't get that. I'm not sure, but I think the moodlets you get are pretty random. My Sims will have a Playful moodlet when wearing warm clothes fresh out of the dryer, which seems a bit odd to me simply because if I put on something straight from the dryer I'm more likely to feel a warm, comfy feeling or maybe inspired (at the most) by the scent.

I don't really think it attracts vampires, but it might have been fun, heh. I haven't paid that much attention to the additive effects but I gather it's basically "good smell for floral stuff, bad smell for food stuff." In fact I want to say that adding the plasma fruit didn't have any effect at all, but I'd have to go back and look. It just caught my eye because it was available to use. Actually having different effects seems like too much granularity to hope for.
  • I wish it mattered more what flower you put in. A rose, daisy or death flower are all the same. I even tried those little emotion berries from the jungle and it still just gives the flower Moodlet.

By the flowers the game means any harvestable. This means that even apples, plasma fruits etc give good smells.
By the food the game means any meal cooked by sim. This means any food on the plate or in the bowl such as grilled cheese and salad.
