Where oh where is the messages in the bottles?

My sim has been walking up and down both beaches in the new world for one sim week now, if not longer. There is no trace of a message in a bottle anywhere, I would really like to complete the collecti...

I had a hard time finding them when it was raining, and I'd had no trouble before, and I knew where the spawners were. I'd imagine they aren't easy to find in the dark, either.
