Where Would Your Pick Of A New World Be Inspired From?

The Phantom Island of Hy-Brasil.

The Mountains of Madness, obviously. Or possibly Unknown Kadath. Not enough Cthulu Mythos in The Sims.

The cinque terre in northern Italy, it's the most cenic and romantic place ever!

Ideally new world options should be used to expand the range of possibilities rather than retread familiar ground. While my personal preference is actually South America, and I feel the 'Jungle' expansion does almost 'insulting injustice' to it... it still means it's been partially looked at so far, so before re-exploring that more properly give me something that been strangely skipped thus far.

That said Salvadora presents a caution of what not to do. DO NOT so Africa as some tourist elephant riding safari trip... Give me actual residential sims based on some real world parts of successful Africa. Most of Africa is middle class, peaceful, and modern - just full of cultures, fashions, and colors not seen in the North.

I would love a large world that was 100% Wintery with many mountain Alps that the sims could live on. Also, I would love for sims to be able to build an Igaloo home or even live literally in an Ice Palace with actual ice. ;)

Someplace warm, whether it be in/on a jungle, desert, savanna, or coast (edit: or city), and either inspired by real places/cultures or fantasy ones. I just don't want to see a place based on a single real-life place or populated by sims based on one distinct set of real-life people.

China or Nepal. I remember someone shared wanting floating islands of China which I thought was a very unique idea.
