I have always been a very gloomy person and for that it has always been my most important and beloved character, who had to suffer the most. Many people find that irritating but it has helped me a lot. So well... my favorite Sim also has a gloomy trait and some other traits as well that make him feel uncomfortable from time to time. But in the game, I tend to prefer trying to make him happy than letting him suffer.
