I just, for the first time since I got OR, had a sim max Herbalism (for the Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration). Identifying wild plants in Granite Falls starts up the skill, then brewing the potions levels up the skill the rest of the way.
It really helped that my sim's mother was a Scientist, who had invented a cloning machine. While you can grow the plants at home, the insects must be gathered in Granite Falls. However, once found, they can also be cloned too :)
The Deodorizing Cream will probably come in very handy. As well as the Insect Repellent Liniment, and probably De-Stressing Decoction.
