So I just bought a new computer so I could finally play the Sims with higher graphic settings (my old one was ancient and weak). Now the waterfall that looks like the one in Aurora Skies is blurry even on high end cards. It's the location with several falls.

@Rhiannon1307 it looks like it depends on the state of your Sulani, my pics I took now, both far and zooming look just like yours. Its a quick new save I began to show you how it looks. I have a GTX 1060. Should be more than enough. Google tells me:

Meh.. my underwater graphics are very pixelated, even with all the details turned up. Big turn off for me.

AFAIK, that's how the underwater graphics are designed... Giving that ripple effect.

All other settings were still on low or medium. So I wonder which of the settings makes that effect. I mean sure, I could try... but I have to switch the game on and off every time.

Hmm your right. That card is better then mine. I don't know then.

If i were you i'd go to nvidia cpanel and manage 3d settings make sure to choose application-specific in dropdown settings in each options if available.
