Subways were one of my favorite forms of travel on pc. There were subways everwhere and usually seemed to be a saving grace when my sim was exhausted or in serious need of some Melon Flurry Suave(i know, I'm soo funny) It was easy travel that was better than the alternative, and was very useful because the subways were right outside a cluster of buildings so you could get home quickly instead of watching your sim walk down the street, take two lefts and a right for no apparent reason before getting to the loading screen. Especially when my sim is tired or exhausted and is walking very slowly it's annoying to have to wait for them.

While I haven't seen them before, it sounds like a good idea. Not to mention it could also explain how a Sim travels to another town or another part of town without having them teleport.

Not seen them in any Sims version, but they would be useful in San Myshuno Since all the ones I've been on are city/mertopolitan things, train/bus/airline would make more sense for going to the other towns in game.

If they brought them back, I'd be fine with it, but if I had my choice I'd want a feature that actually added to the game. Not just another thing to click to get to a loading screen. I think it would be a nice small detail to add to San Myshuno (I don't have Windenburg, but from what I've seen of the town square area, maybe there too?).You could make it so that sims always go to the subway entrances that are already there when you click the go home icon, and then add a subway sound effect as the screen transitions to the usual loading screen. All the other worlds seem more taxi/bus/uber friendly, though

Who else wants subways back in Sims 4?

Sims 3 had subways. Introduced with Nightlife, I believe.

For anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about, subways were those little grey domes with a door and a staircase. They lead to an underground subway that you don't see onscreen.

Sure, but I also wish the "leave the area" spot for some Lots/Neighborhoods was changed.
Ever visit Thorne Bailey's house in Del Sol Valley and then click the "Go Home" button?
Rather than just transitioning to a loading screen from the same spot you'd rabbithole to work if you lived in his house, your Sim goes allllll the way down the winding road to that horribly placed travel area transition spot.

It's terrible enough if your Sim is fine and is able to do that trip at a jogging pace, but if your Sim is tired, or has to pee, or it's a Blizzard, good luck getting home before several Sim-hours pass.
