The description states Johny was disowned "by the Landgraabs" (for dropping out of school).Isn't he perhaps a little old to be Malcom's brother and Geoffrey/Nancys son?Is there more information anywhere else?I almost think it would make more sense for him to be Geoffrey's younger brother. Like, perhaps their father had a thing with a younger woman later in life?

I'm seeing Malcolm as late teen, around 17-18'ish, and Johnny 21-22. In my mind, they aren't that far apart. The couple of times I've played the Landgraabs, Mal is aged up as soon as he gets an A in school. I always make them brothers, when I plan to or actually play Johnny. Which is, I forget how many, around 7-9 saves...? What can I say? He's my fav goofball :)There is little information about him on the Sims Fandom wiki, and he is nowhere to be seen in TS3, where Malcolm is a child and living with his parents Geoffrey and Nancy. Of course, if he is Geoffreys brother, Johnny could be living in some other town we don't know about.

The two options I usually see are that he's Nancy and Geoffrey's eldest son, or Nancy's younger brother (it's TS3 canon that she's the one from the Landgraab family, and Geoffrey changed his name when they married. Never said otherwise in TS4, so I assume it's the same there). I go with the first option.And honestly, the ages work fine for me? I play Johnny and have a whole story set up, so the ages I have at the start of a new save are Johnny at 23-24, Malcolm at 16, Nancy and Geoffrey around mid-40s to 50s (middle aged, but certainly not elderly). Johnny would have been born when his parents were in their early-mid 20s, Malcolm in their early 30s. Johnny is disowned when he's 16 and Malcolm is 7-8.

My theory is that Johnny is the OG Malcolm Landgraab. He didn't want to follow in his parents' footsteps and wanted to become a comedian, which lead to them disowning him. He then changed his name to Johnny Zest. The Landgraab legacy has to continue, though, so they cloned Johnny (by maybe using one of his hairs or forcing him into the cloning machine) and the result is the teenaged spoilt brat that lives with the Landgraabs now. I assumed he was Malcolm's older brother. These are all interesting theories! So much more creative than my assumptions. :D

I tend to go with Nancy is the Landgraab, Johnny is her kid brother, and it was her parents that disowned him. His relationship with his sister changes depending on the save and what I want to do with them (or sometimes I just leave it to MCCC - which usually means Nancy and Johnny pretend to not know each other.)

I didn't play with him in the save that I'm playing. All of the Landgraabs are long gone in my game. That said, if he were still around, he'd be Geoffrey's secret son and Malcolm's rival in life. Johnny would gather a clique that would counter Malcolm every step of the way. Maybe they could fall for the same love interest. I don't know. On his deathbed, Geoffrey is filled with regret and leaves a bunch of secret money to Johnny. Nancy is furious and out for revenge. Johnny pursues fame and becomes untouchable. I could go on like that.

Interesting theory to be honest but if he is a landgraab than more likely Nancy little brother.
In my save he is still Malcom brother (thx mcc) plus Zest is live witd Adrien now.. one more disowned landgraab :smiley: so in my save Malcom married to Hannelore they had first Adrien than much later Mimi and Dudley but suddenly * dramatic music * Hannelore died in a electric accident. Soo after that "Mom" landgraab arrived to comfort Malcom (totally not for money) and became the toddler twins step mother. Adrien didn't like it and hate her so he decided to move to Zest uncle because he is a good guy :blush:

All I know is that he's the first one that gets deleted in all of my saves---there's something about him that I find incredibly annoying

I've always thought he's around 20-22 and the eldest son of Nancy and Geoffrey but has been disowned by his family for dropping out of school to become a stand up comedian. Likewise, Johnny hates his parents equally as he has changed his name to Zest and doesn't acknowledge them.
