Click on that and choose Other Households. Find that sim, click on their household and you can click on the trashcan icon to delete them.

Or you can, you know, invite him over, get him into a room, lock the door so your sim can escape, start a fire (either by fireworks or campfire) and let him burn to death. Then he cannot send new vampires text messages explaining about the life state!
