Why do you think they go into the hamper? Do you see them going in there? In the LS, the clothes were folded and the sim sort of tossed them into the air and they went into the dresser.
They went into the hamper. It was filled with clothes that were clean. There was only one hamper in the house at the time and of course it was empty while the clothes were in the washer and dryer.
