Why "disable dust" instead of "disable dust bunnies"

Not sure but if you're ok with mods Zero has a mod to disable dust bunnies and a few more to "fix" some annoyances with BtD...

I have that mod texxx78, it is a good mod!

I'm still waiting for the dust and bunnies to appear since they nerfed it. How long does it take now @texxx78 ? (I'm asking you cos I know you use the pack)

I have also been waiting on dust. I want more chances to use the vacuume. I've been vacuuming to perfection with no dust appearance just to actually use it?
But I've given up on nerfing complaints and have just accepted it. It appears whenever it appears. ?

I'm not having any issues with it. I got the Kit the day before the patch and I did see it slow down, but I have had at least two dust-bunny sightings so far. Louise, the mom in my game, is Erratic, so she'll talk to the coat-rack, so it's no real stretch for her to talk to the scarecrow, let alone befriend a dust-bunny. They all just know mom is being mom. LOL But, the dust bunny didn't find any real treasures so Louise stepped on it. :open_mouth: That was funny. But, alas, I think the kids like a clean house. Someone is always staying on top of the dust without my help, I'm happy to say.

I don't have the pack, and I have a question about the "disable dust" thing---is this selectable for every household? There are some Sims I want to have to dust, and some I don't

I do not know, but I would expect that it's one size fits all as with all of the disable mechanisms in this game. :'(

@Nate_Whiplash1 I too was hoping for selected households to suffer dust, but alas, no. All lots get dusty, even community lots. And yes, sims do pull out their vacuums in nightclubs, gyms, etc. :D

Now that would be a trip. LOL "Hey, I see you work here, can you get me a drink from the bar?"

Thanks for the info....I guess I'll pass on the pack, as I don't want all of my Sims to have more chores to do

The dust and bunnies seem to have gone down on some of my lots and are just as aggressive as before on others. But they're everywhere on my community lots. I haven't noticed much of a difference with dust overall, but my sims are vacuuming less than before. And I have one house where the bathroom stays dusty no matter what.
