Not only that, but it also almost always is the centerpiece item (the one item that most agree is the one that's holding all the other pieces together). Is it some kind of requisite to have at least one deadly aspect when creating a pack? Mermaids can drown you? News to me, Ive been trying to actively drown other sims as a mermaid since the pack dropped! Cant accomplish it without tearing my hair out and resorting to pools with walls. And I do like that new packs tend to incorporate new deaths. I want my sims lives to be risky.

I’ve yet to have a Sim die in any way other than old age or drowning, I think. I do wish there were actually more ways Sims could die, like why don’t Sims die from illnesses???? Quite disappointing and I don’t see why they can even get sick if they can’t die. Or at least there was less warning/ability to prevent death. Sometimes I want to be completely caught off guard.

Why the PG13 of it all is what I wanna know! When are they gonna drop some kind of serial killer pack to accompany the 100 ways to kill a sim already? I’m not saying I need blood and guts galore, but I wanna play out my Olive Spectre fantasy goddammit lol! ???Or is TS4 really gonna pretend it’s some kind of Disney game forever?

It's a shame, especially since there already is a body-outline graffiti piece that implies a murder took place.

I can't seem to keep a cowplant alive long enough to get any use out of it. The time frame of feeding it when it's hungry is way too short. It always dies before I can get someone to it to feed it.

Im suddenly reminded of that Danger SP that was included in the first community vote. I wasnt around to vote in that, but I would've LOVED to see what would've been included in there. (still waiting for ideas from losing packs to occur just saying) The game is so tame and easy as is that it bores me. Thank god for mods.

Honestly I wish it was easier to die. You really need to go out of your way to kill your sims in sims 4. It is hard to accidentally kill your sims !

Mermaids can pull sims underwater, causing their needs to drop. Most of the time, the sim who got pulled over has enough time to get out of the ocean before they die by drowning.
And you know what is more terrifying than mermaids? That black cloud-mass like thing that pulls sims underwater. If it happens randomly (and this means that a mermaid isn't summoning it), that sim could drown to death. Thanks to this and shark, these have invaded my dreams where as soon as I send my sims swimming in ocean, they'll immediately get surrounded by sharks and will eventually after short time get pulled underwater and die.
Fortunately, the town neighborhood Ohan'ali Town in Sulani is the safest. Your sim will never encounter a shark there. But Mua Pel'am, that's where your sim is in the most danger.

In fall, leaves fall. Then your sim rakes them and then they can burn them. That's the inefficient trap that fall has set, as burning them may start a fire. And if there's fire and no sims to put it out, you may see Grim Reaper later on...
Plus it gets colder.
And I do have to say that unlike in the previous games, you won't see much lightning in spring. Instead, it more likely happens in summer (or when the weather forecast is "Mystery Weather"). It does rain a lot during the spring, which leads to another inefficient trap: if you leave electronic objects outdoors during rain, they'll break and sims have to repair them. This may get sim shocked, and if they immediately try to repair it again, they'll die by electrocution. However, in warm climate (like in Sulani, Oasis Springs, Selvadorada etc.), this happens in winter. However, the other seasons are usually dry and hot.

I think it all started with Sims 1 and the fires. The creator of the Sims lost his own house because of a fire. He recreated that in the Sims (which I think is the reason why the fires are so often in the first Sims game). The players loved that aspect, along side with the pool and ladders thing. So I think from that moment the players were interesting in new ways to kill your sims and that has never changed.

I don't know if my story is 100% true, but this is atleast what I think :)
