- Nindigo797 years agoSeasoned AceYou should buy a new school book via a bookcase or a computer. Things in the inventory sometimes gets bugged.
- floridameerkat7 years agoSeasoned AceSims will sometimes do homework autonomously, but I have found that, for the most part, if I want my sim's kids to do it on time, I have to manually tell them to do it.
- GalacticGal7 years agoLegendI've only had a few Sims autonomously do their homework. Mostly, I have to add it to their queue and then watch to make sure the little scamps don't walk away leaving it incomplete. Might as well be raising my three kids again. LOL
- spankenstein897 years agoNew AdventurerThanks for your comments so far. I tried buying a new school book through the bookcase, but she still won't do it, and I tried to get her parents to tell her to do it, but the interaction doesn't seem available. Perhaps if I tried resetting the sim?
- spankenstein897 years agoNew AdventurerI'm unable to add it to her queue because the only interaction I have with the book is to place it in the world. I don't have a "do homework" option when I click on it.
- Nindigo797 years agoSeasoned AceOdd. Perhaps then if you repair the game, it will solve itself.
- Netzspannung7 years agoSeasoned AceThis may be a silly question, but does your sim have the correct homework? There is grade school homework for children and (high school) homework for teens. These are different objects. Just wondering if your sim aged up recently. They usually keep the old homework in their inventory and the new one maybe wasn't added or left somewhere? Otherwise I would try to repair the game, as already suggested.
- I generally have to direct my sims to do their homework, otherwise they either do it outside in the snow, and generally they tend to avoid doing it. In one of my families, I had twins, there was a homework mixup and I couldn't interact with the homework, once I put it in world I was able to fix it. Maybe try buying new homework? You might need to repair as suggested by others. Hope you find a solution.
- even my smartest sims need to be forced to do homework, which could be attributed to my low free will settings. i don't find it a huge inconvenience because i click on all the activities i want my sims to do anyway.

It's not a silly question, and yes, she has in fact aged up recently. She might be stuck with her old grade school homework.
Thanks for the suggestion.
