I have a sim living in Windenburg that just started college. Being a resident, she applied for the town scholarship, but was turned down. Now I have an upset and sad sim and displeased Watcher. What's the problem here?

The resident scholarships are just a random chance of getting them. Your RNG didn't like you.

Would be interesting to see what the dice roll formula is. Still, a scholarship for residents should be a given unless there was justifiable cause not to.

Weird. Both my sims that went to college got the "resident of___" scholarship, so I just assumed that one was automatic. Didn't realize there was a chance of not getting it.

Seems to me that half of the students from my one household got the residence scholarship, while the other two didn't. And, their Daddy is RICH. Go figure.

No scholarship bc if u live in Windenburg u probably rich.
At least in the countryside and island part ?
