Ownable business ?
That’s what it sounds like to me….. something between a bar and a restaurant that you can own, but it would be nice if you could live there too, and possibly rent out rooms. - it is rather curious to me that they "own' the pub indeed but idk
maybe they just added some coding like with sages to these sims - amapola76Seasoned HotshotIt could be a new lot type, or it could just be that that's the backstory they gave them for the blog. It will be interesting to see!
I guess either way, it sounds like the owner(s) are the ones who give out the village tasks, and so presumably if you delete them, they will be replaced in some fashion? I don't know, I gather that's how it works with the special sims in Evergreen Harbor, but I haven't really played with that system very much. - filipomelNew SpectatorSounds like they will just be some kind of NPC that hangs around the pub with unique functionality.
- catloverplayerSeasoned AceI hope they can reserve the tables like in Dine Out but I'm betting they put the food in their inventories.
- logionXSeasoned HotshotI doubt it, it will just be a normal pub where you can only order drinks or some food.
Their marketing team made it look like you could order more food in the Snowy Escape pub as well which wasn't true.

The blog didn't talk about it.
For EP11 Cottage Living, they insist on the fact they own this venue same as Crumplebottom's venue.Another iconic spot is the Crumplebottom’s Garden Shop, owned by Agatha Crumplebottom, and run by Agatha and Agnes!
The Garden Shop isn’t an actual lot. It’s part of the neighborhood like the food stalls we have. Owned by the Crumplebottoms just means Agatha and Agnes are attending it.

That’s sad, maybe the pub is just going to be window dressing too then. I wish they wouldn’t get our hopes up if that is the case, by actually talking like they are actual lots. - crocobauraSeasoned AceI think in the first trailer or blog, they said you could go for a picnic at the pub. The food shown in the trailer is different from the regular bar food, maybe it's something they brought in a picnic basket. But they also said that the pub is owned and the bartender appears to be wearing a different uniform from the black outfit usually worn by bartenders. If it is a new type of venue I hope that it's one we could own.
- keekee53Seasoned NewcomerI was wondering about this as well because I really just want to delete the townies and add my own. If the couple actually owns the bar, I might want to play their story out.
