I wish the devs would add a couple of new categories to clothing, as follows:Base Game Costume- so that I can decide what costume to wear and what counts as a costume. With this i can do family theme costumes, especially if I use mods Naked/Nude- I am so sick of my sim getting out of the shower at the gym and changing to a towel with a hat and socks afterwards. I actually like the towel, but wish I could set hair and makeup and accessories for it. Plus it's a way for simmers to reenact glory days from former Sims games (remember the never naked trait?) I'd also like to have my sim dress in a towel or robe after her shower at home too I just want to be able to set it.City Living Festival Outfits I actually love that people show up to festivals in certain colors, I just wish the outfits were a little better thought out. Marcus Flex hardly ever wears pants to festivals in my game, and he goes to all of them.I'd love to know any others you'd like to add.

I definitely agree that more outfit categories would be nice! Even in base game, they include a plethora of pieces I would never dress my sim in outside of being a costume, so that would be really neat. Alternatively, wouldn't it be really neat to just have a "holiday" category, so outfits 1-5 could be determined for whatever holiday you want and all you'd have to do is use "change outfit" on the day of to be dressed in Spring/Halloween/Valentine's Day clothes? I guess you could use other categories, but it would be cool if sims would automatically change on holidays.

i think a "Work" outfit category would be handy. One of my sims is a politician and i hate the tacky pink outfit she goes to work in. it would be nice if i could pop into CAS and switch up what she wears to work-- still something appropriate for a politician, but something that suits my sim better. pink is NOT her colour

Agree. If they could add hot & cold weather categories, then why couldn't they have added festival wear categories? Even just add a "block hidden outfits" category to the game options so sims will just show up to them in their everyday or weather appropriate outfits.

I kind of just wish they would go to festivals in their party wear. This is probably an unpopular opinion but I actually think there doesn't need to be any new ones. It already takes ages setting up 8 outfits per sim

We also need a work category so we can choose our sims work outfits
, some of the outfits are really....ew....just....ew.
In TS3 we could edit it, so why not in TS4 ?
Also it would be nice to have several work outfits so they’re not dressed the same everyday.

I wish they would redo the hair categories. There is a lot of hair now and it's hard to scroll through. I'd rather have long, medium and short then ponytail or updo options (or both).
