I don't know why I would want to pay $ $25 Canadian for it to be a standalone game, instead of $25 to get the same thing but I can use it in the game I already have... Having it as a standalone game really limited what I could do with it I would think. I like that I can use all the build mode stuff and the cas in The Sims game I already have and if it didn't add to the Sims game I'm already playing I would definitely not buy it.
