I don’t want anything else to be added to the base game if that thing is already included in a pack I already paid for.
Folks who want hot tubs can purchase Perfect Patio Stuff like I did.
In TS2, cars originally were part of a pack, then were later patched into the base game...and TS2 had hot tubs in the base game. So, yeah, I do approve of patching hot tubs into the base game. Making former base game content into pack-only content was a scummy idea to begin with.

Cars weren't patched into the base game. The system was to own though; where you get new cars by downloading them. Do who are in FOR this patching, do you guys even own Perfect Patio? Whoever sides with to patch exact hot tubs from the stuff pack should make evaluation of the cost added to a pack. How much people did pay for hot tubs that wouldn't be the total cost?

Allow me to clarify:
1) Patch in a few hot tubs into the base game. Possibly designs from past iterations since the anniversary update is coming up. The Love Tub would be a cool return.
2) Throughout their 5 years of running, they haven't released a single hot tub outside of Perfect Patio. Even though, in The Sims 3, they did introduce more with additional DLCs. A patch released for those who own a certain DLC (EP/GP/SP - surprised we didn't get any hot tubs in Backyard Stuff), with more hot tub choices.
Those are more reasonable.
