Would you recommend Tartosa?

Tartosa is a pretty world. I like to send my sims there for a visit but no one lives there at the moment. The most interesting lot is on a little island that's connected to the mainland with a bridge.

There isn't much to do in the world but it is great world to take photos with your sims. 

The biggest downside is that none of the foodstalls sell local food. With so many worlds the devs try to include special, local food but Tartosa didn't get that kind of attention. Only Asian food.

I don't use weddings anymore. The English only update last year broke the improved features for non English speakers and the bug report about it was closed because it was intended design for these features to be unusable in non-English games. I'm still very disappointed by this reaction and frankly far less motivated to report any bugs. But that's another discussion. I bought the pack before this patch ruined the gameplay and still use the world. 

This is a tough one. I was super excited about Tartosa when it came out but it fulfills my expectations only to some degree. It's very quiet and rather empthy. My favourite lots are the beach lot and the one up the hill. Some of the lot sizes are a bit weird. Still it has the scenery, it has the beach + swimming, it has the little shops and it has the bottle collection. The vibes are there. I like it, but I don't love it as much as I expected. Also personally I fell in love with the CAS one once I tried it, almost all of the dresses are very sophisticated and mature.

LisaC37​ Yeah, I think I'd just like something different. I am seeing that it has at times been 60% off, which I may wait for. Maybe in December.

simgirl1010​ I'm really excited about Bed & Breakfast. I've been starting to replace lots in my saves and the vacation rentals and community lots are always the most satisfying. I've actually just renovated one in Granite Falls that I'm really enjoying. 

I do like swimming in the ocean! And bathing, now that we have Natural Living.

JesLet40​ Thanks for the detailed thoughts! I do like the interactive waterfall in Sulani (and so happy they finally fixed fishing in Sulani!). I don't do diving or other interactions, I just thought the number of lots might be worth it. Maybe on a bigger sale someday...

SheriSim​ I love this creative use of Small Businesses! Your storytelling is really selling me on this, it sounds like a lot of fun. I have been enjoying Businesses and Hobbies--the only downside is they don't register as certain lot types for events or aspirations, even if the activity is available.
