yard sales home business!

Haha, I knew about it but still haven't had a chance to check it out. As a matter of fact I still haven't sent my sim to a festival yet. :p

I can't figure it out. Where is the table located in buymode and when I tried to stock them at the flea market in the city that was only for replacing stuff sold. So, I can't figure out how to put stuff on the table. lol I thought 'stock' meant put stuff on the table like it does in TSM or TS3 etc.

ETA: What stuff can we put on the tables? Nothing my Sims have in inventory will go on the table at the flea market.

A modder figured out a way to make a functional lemonade stand for kids using the sales table and the lemonade from the Backyard SP. They haven't published it yet though, so it's probably still not ready. But it's good to know certain objects can be used in different scenarios. :)

@jimbbq It doesn't work very well though, my sim held multiple yard sales and earned no money after items were bought. It appears that bug still hasn't been fixed.

The items are under activities. You can check the city living pack so that you can easily find them. There are two yard sale stands, one for items which can be put on a surface, another for paintings and photos which can be mounted on the wall .

You need tp first tend the table and then click the stand to start a yard sale!

You can also set the profit margin! It works for me, I can earn money with it!

To put stuff on the table, you need to click the table and select view inventory. Then drag all your items in your inventory to the tables inventory. Then click the table and choose stock table. Then your items should now appear on the table. Then click the table and choose tend table. Click again to start a yard sale!

I absolutely love having street sales, my sim always makes a TON of money. I haven't sold anything with the table, but I have with the display canvas for her paintings. It's actually really fun and I love that the display is portable and she can start a sale anywhere in the game :) I agree, it's one of CL's coolest features and I don't think very many people even know about it or how to use it properly. I remember having to Google how it worked before I figured out how to use it, haha.

Yes it's really cool, I ve used it a lot too for my painter sim before she had enough money to buy a shop. I mainly used the display one for paintings but it worked well.
