Yikes .... The Game Pack Trailer has more dislikes than likes

Lol! I was a very young adult in 1977, in fact I was in my second year of college, and I got married that year. My hubby and I both loved the star war movies. I thought Hans Solo was a hunk! I still love sci-fi. I have to say I’m a bit out of place with these newer Star Wars movies, though I have seen most of them with my young adult daughter and her boyfriend. Being older I was more than a bit disappointed when Hans Solo died, But, I lost my own husband 14 years ago to cancer, so maybe it’s a bit fitting. I’m going to have to get the books and read them!

I’m not quite sure how I’m going to fit this into my sims stories. I’m not sure if it’s a vacation world, or if you can live there. I hope they include a hotel lot and casino stuff to this package. If they do I can see taking vacations there and looking at it as sort of an amusement park type vacation world. I hope that if the aliens are not real aliens, but just dressed in outfits that they are not from my home worlds.... lol. Am I excited? I’m not sure.... lol. It’s definitely something different!

Personally, it appears to me that more are not in favor of this than were not for Eco Living or even Knitting

i think eco lifestyle has the same reaction in terms of dislike right? well i kind prefer a star wars pack because of theme vibe, so i think i will like, i wait for some news or gameplay videos

No, judging by the likes/dislikes ratio on the trailer, it's mostly positive... ish. 93k likes vs 39k dislikes. This trailer is getting bombed, though. I've never seen such a reception, especially one about Star Wars. But I do understand it.

I was, like, oh wow, so cool, but didn't see any sarlacc in the trailer or mention in the blog or something. So I went over to your thread and read everything your posted there, but I think you're confusing sarlacc with sabacc. Sabacc is a card game, and I've indeed seen a sabacc game table in the trailer. A sarlacc is a 100 meter long carnivorous creature that burrows in the ground, leaving only it's maw at the surface, and takes about 1000 years to digest it's prey (painfully and keeping it unnaturally long alive)... It could have been a cowplant reskin or something? Oh well, bummer.

Honestly I’m not excited for this. Some people don’t like stars wars and this type of stuff isn’t the “normal” for people. I’m probably not getting this myself so enjoy those whom are excited

To put my opinion on the whole Sims series lately gently, I think they stopped caring what the fans/players think. They know there are so many of us that no matter what they make, enough people will still buy it to give them a crazy profit.
They simply don't care about their product, just that it makes them money.

(All of this anger and disappointment, I still have hope the game will get better...I've played Sims too long to give up on it at this point.)

The thing is, even many Star Wars fans are upset and disappointed with this pack... because it's pointless. If we wanted to play a Star Wars story, we'd be buying and playing one of EA's Star Wars games... there was absolutely no reason for them to make an entire pack revolving around Star Wars.
