You Know You've Been Playing Too Long When …

When you actually have a big note book to record all the CAS, build modes, careers, environment, NPCs, occults, relationships, skills & traits cheat codes. Plus, playing 6 different Timeline Game Saves. And that's playing only vanilla.

When you find yourself trying to scroll the screen while watching a YT vid, or punch the 'P' key to pause. It's 'K' to pause YT vids by the way. ;)
When the ringtone on your cell is from TS2.
When Hubby asks how quickly you can get ready to go out and just as a joke you jump spin around, look down at yourself and say, "Oh, opps, I'm not a Sim, too bad. It'll take a little longer."
When you had preteens living at home when you first played The Sims and worked full time, but now those kids are all grown up, moved out, you have Grandchildren and are retired.
When you're riding in the car somewhere and rubber neck to get another look at a house you want to build in the Sims and Hubby doesn't even ask what you're doing. He knows...
When you realize your Son painted the walls of his new house the exact same colors he used all the time in The Sims when playing as a kid. He denies it, but you know it's true!
When you keep thinking the fake bears in TS4 should have a bow on their head and walk around on tiptoes.

...and, well I could go on forever. hehe Obviously I've been playing for a long time, but I wouldn't say TOO long. I love this game! <3

Hahaha...If I had a nickel for every time that has happened to me. Also when watching a movie on TV...I'll pause and rewind to get a longer view of a house exterior for the same reason. If I'm watching it with others, those who don't know me well are like "Dude..what are you doing?"

Oh, that's me all over the place. LOL It's especially telling when I try to zoom into the screen, or try to change the angle of the view. :open_mouth:

You tell your husband you're sad because a Sim you've known since birth just died of old age.

I'm watching a TV show and comment "Oh .. she has a Sims hairstyle" or "he's wearing a Sim's outfit".
Or I'm rearranging a room, realize I don't like it and get frustrated when I can't use the Undo button.
