I use the memory system with both screenshots and journal entries (I heard you can reminisce with the rocking chair too, but I don't have the Knitting pack yet). I have the Meaningful Stories mod installed so usually they are feeling the right emotions at the time I take the photo/write in journal. Sometimes my sims will "Auto Reminisce" and put themselves in a good/bad mood, which makes gameplay more interesting for me.
@MLadyAzzera Oh, that sounds interesting indeed and one of the things i said i wanted to happen in my op. Is this because of the mod or is it a mechanic in-game too? i haven't noticed anything like it in my game yet.
