I have 2 toddlers now - I play on the long lifespan so they are toddlers for 28 days. My older one Claire just hit her "halfway mark" and has 14 days left, and my new baby Lila just aged to a toddler yesterday :)
My simself is a stay-at-home baker and has yard sales out front at the street sale table & my boyfriend's simself/my sims husband is in the music career, so he works many evenings.
I usually wake the parents up around 5-6 depending on their energy levels. They are normally full ever since I got nightmares under control by reading stories. Every once in awhile they will be extra tired from being up late fixing broken appliances and what not, in that case I give them coffee lol. Dennis does yoga while I use the toilet & shower and then he uses the bathroom & showers while I cook breakfast.
By now it is about 7 or 8 and I have claire wake up and go to use the potty. Lila is not yet potty trained and uses her diaper overnight. While Claire potties I have the adults enjoy a quiet breakfast together, and then they each grab one toddler & put them into their highchair and give them breakfast. Whoever grabs Lila changes her diaper first.
Dennis goes to play piano (for his daily task, a required skill for work, or just writing songs or jingles for money) while my simself cleans up the adult's dishes while the girls eat. When they are finished she grabs Claire, gets her dressed and sets her free to run around and play. By now Claire's needs are all taken care of. Then I get Lila dressed and potty train her and set her free to play. I have her clean up the highchairs and by then it is about 10am.
From 10-12 my simself either takes care of her needs (only "fun" is sometimes low so she watches tv for an hour or dances/plays with one of the girls) and I control what the girls are playing with during this time to ensure they are building a skill that is low. Then my simself starts cooking, usually about 2-3 meals a day. She maxed out gourmet cooking so she makes baked alaska which i make a 953 simoleon profit from... so we dont need too many! Lol she cooks every other day, and on the inbetween days during this time she has a sale.
At noon, the girls take a nap on their beds. My simself is usually still cooking or selling until they wake up around 1. Dennis either continues his music or does something around the house if it needs to be done, or he naps if his energy is low, or takes care of any needs to be in a good mood for work (at 2 or 3 and it changes as he gets promoted). He usually says goodbye to the girls with hugs or snuggles before he leaves.
When they wake up my simself potty trains Lila and then spends an hour or two with each of the girls working on a skill. Claire also potties when she gets up from her nap after I am done with Lila (they share a potty). Around 3 or 4, she cooks dinner and has the girls in their highchairs with their dinner by 5 at the latest. They are always done by 6pm or earlier.
I let Lila out to play and give Claire a bath, then bathe Lila while Claire potties. By this time it is around 8pm. I potty train Lila while Claire plays and then Dennis usually comes home in time so one of us reads a story to each girl (and we alternate each night so Dennis reads to Claire one night while I read to Lila then the next night we switch) then we each tuck both girls in and get the house cleaned up and go to bed by 10ish.
I take the girls out to the park and to restaurants sometimes on Dennis' days off, and I will be sending the family to a vacation soon. I also have date nights here and there where the nanny watches the girls. I love toddlers!!!!
